You will probably ask "What does all this fun cost?"........Go then , ask!

If you are the audience we may charge a negotiable fee or pass the hat (Most of our profits go towards local charities at the end of the year)

If you want to join this illustrious band of men then read on.

The Cost

Joining fee: There is no joining fee.

Practice fee: Each practice only costs a member £1 (students and unemployed do not pay). This is purely because if you pay for something then you will work at it and get your money's worth. However this only applies when the Bagman remembers to collect it.

Dancing: This only costs your body and soul - but do you really have a meaningful, alternative use for them at present?

The Kit: Do you own or can you get hold of a pair of shoes, blue jeans, white shirt, a hat? We will supply the bells and bell pads. You can also get hold of a waistcoat for a couple of quid from any good charity shop. But you don't need those yet. You'll have to learn how to dance first!!

So you've seen and read enough?

Do you fancy hours of arduous practice while being yelled at by an abrasive but reasonably tolerant foreman?

Can you suffer evenings and weekends of drinking and dancing till your body can no longer stay upright?

And you're still keen to join the madness of the Morris?

Well then, come along to a practice at the address shown on "Where We Meet" page (better email the squire first, just in case we cancelled it)

...........................and of course there's the pub for a refresher afterwards
